§ 4-312. Personnel and compensation
PERSONNEL AND COMPENSATION.
Subject to other provisions of Section 1-101 et seq. of this title, the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission is authorized to appoint, fix the compensation and prescribe the duties and powers of such officers, accountants, attorneys, experts and other persons as may be necessary in the performance of its duties under Section 1-101 et seq. of this title. The Commission is authorized and directed to maintain the existing merit system covering all persons employed in the administration of this act and shall have authority, by rule, to provide for all matters which are appropriate to the establishment and maintenance of a merit system on the basis of efficiency and fitness. The Commission is authorized to adopt rules as may be necessary to meet personnel standards pursuant to the Social Security Act, as amended,1 and the Act of Congress entitled “An Act to provide for the establishment of a national employment system, and for other purposes”, approved June 6, 1933, as amended.
