Section 6. Term of License
A. The judicial legal internship license shall terminate when:
1. For any reason the judicial legal intern is no longer enrolled in an accredited law school, except for summer sessions or vacation periods without having completed the requirements for graduation; or
2. When the results of the Oklahoma bar examination immediately subsequent to the judicial legal intern's graduation from law school indicate that the intern failed to take the bar examination, or took the bar examination and failed to pass it; or
3. When the intern, who passed the first Oklahoma bar examination given after the intern graduated from law school, is administered the oath by the Supreme Court of Oklahoma admitting the judicial legal intern to the practice of law.
4. When the judicial legal intern is no longer employed by a Justice of the Supreme Court, or by a Judge of the Court of Criminal Appeals, or by a Judge of the Court of Appeals.
5. When the judicial legal intern has not completed the requirements for graduation within 24 months following his qualification as a judicial legal intern.
B. The Legal Internship Committee may, upon application by the judicial legal intern, conduct a hearing and upon a showing of good cause extend the intern's eligibility more than one year. The internship committee may delegate the responsibility for conducting the hearing to a panel selected by the chairman of the Legal Internship Committee for the purpose of conducting the hearing.
C. The judicial legal internship license is granted at the sufferance of the Supreme Court of Oklahoma and may be revoked at any time by that Court or by the Legal Internship Committee. Any Order of Revocation will be filed with the Oklahoma Bar Association and a copy sent to the Chief Justice. The order will not be filed in the Supreme Court. A revocation shall be final.
D. A judicial legal intern who can no longer meet the requirements set forth in Section I(A).
