ROP 3. Other Matters Before the Appellate Division
On matters other than an appeal from a judgment of the Trial Division, a party seeking relief before the Appellate Division may file an application to assume jurisdiction, which shall contain copies of all papers and records attached necessary to consider the matter, together with ten (10) copies of the brief in support of the application and requested relief. The presiding judge shall consider the matters filed and enter an order designating the date and time for the court to meet to consider and decide the application. If the presiding judge deems necessary the order can provide for the opposite party to file a response and ten (10) copies of an answer brief prior to the meeting of the court.
