Twenty-Fifth Judicial District Court Rule 13
Rule 13. Notification by Clerk to Judge of Filings
The Court Clerk's office shall notify the case judge of the filing of any pleading requiring a hearing and of answers filed.
If a case is dormant, the Judge shall cause such case to be docketed for appropriate action.
All civil cases at issue shall be set for pre-trial conference and trial as soon as possible. All pending felony criminal cases, after preliminary hearing, shall be set on a status/disposition docket prior to each jury trial docket until finally resolved. The pending misdemeanor criminal cases will be set on a misdemeanor disposition docket within ninety (90) days of initial appearance and finally resolved within one hundred eighty (180) days of initial appearance unless good cause can be shown to the contrary.
