§ 6-302. Disease eradication and control--Inspecting and examining vehicles--Issuing citations--Agents' satisfactory completion of courses
A. To enable the State Board of Agriculture to implement its duties and responsibilities regarding disease eradication and control of livestock and theft of livestock, and of farming equipment and farm implements, authorized agents of the Board are authorized to stop a vehicle transporting any livestock or farming equipment or farm implement for the purposes of inspecting and examining:

Each violation relating to the transportation of livestock, and any required documentation regarding disease eradication and control of livestock being transported may result in a citation not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per incident. Each citation issued shall indicate the name of the owner of the livestock being transported, as well as the name of the driver of the vehicle.
