All conservancy districts hereafter created under this act shall have as its corporate name. . . . (here insert the geographical descriptive name of the district, such as “Waterfall-Gilford”, “Cottonwood”, or “Sandy”) Conservancy District.

All districts, so created, shall be designated by the name as herein prescribed, notwithstanding other provisions of this act to the contrary.

All districts heretofore created by this act and bearing corporate names or designations differing from the above may be changed upon proper petition to the district court creating the same, and the judge thereof, upon proper showing, and with or without notice as the court may direct, may proceed to issue order and judgment formally changing and establishing the name of such district to conform to this provision.
