§ 29. Classification
The following general classes of goods and services are established for convenience of administration of this act,1 but not to limit or extend the applicant's or registrant's rights, and a single application for registration of a trademark may include any or all goods upon which or services with which the trademark is actually being used indicating the appropriate class or classes of goods or services. When a single application includes goods or services which fall within multiple classes, the Secretary of State shall require payment of a fee for each class.
The said classes are as follows:
(a) Goods
111. Raw or partly prepared materials
112. Receptacles
113. Baggage, animal equipments, portfolios, and pocketbooks
114. Abrasives and polishing materials
115. Adhesives
116. Chemicals and chemical compositions
117. Cordage
118. Smokers' articles, not including tobacco products
119. Explosives, firearms, equipments, and projectiles
110. Fertilizers
111. Inks and inking materials
112. Construction materials
113. Hardware and plumbing and steamfitting supplies
114. Metals and metal castings and forgings
115. Oils and greases
116. Paints and painters' materials
117. Tobacco products
118. Medicines and pharmaceutical preparations
119. Vehicles
120. Linoleum and oiled cloth
121. Electrical apparatus, machines, and supplies
122. Games, toys, and sporting goods
123. Cutlery, machinery, and tools, and parts thereof
124. Laundry appliances and machines
125. Locks and safes
126. Measuring and scientific appliances
127. Horological instruments
128. Jewelry and precious metalware
129. Brooms, brushes, and dusters
130. Crockery, earthenware, and porcelain
131. Filters and refrigerators
132. Furniture and upholstery
133. Glassware
134. Heating, lighting, and ventilating apparatus
135. Belting, hose, machinery packing, and nonmetallic tires
136. Musical instruments and supplies
137. Paper and stationery
138. Prints and publications
139. Clothing
140. Fancy goods, furnishings, and notions
141. Canes, parasols, and umbrellas
142. Knitted, netted and textile fabrics, and substitutes therefor
143. Thread and yarn
144. Dental, medical, and surgical appliances
145. Soft drinks and carbonated waters
146. Foods and ingredients of foods
147. Merchandise not otherwise classified
148. Cosmetics and toilet preparations
149. Detergents and soaps
