§ 1086. Allowing offense on premises--Punishment
Any owner, proprietor, keeper, manager, conductor, or other person, who knowingly permits or suffers the violation of any provision of this article,1 in any house, building, room, tent, lot or premises under his control or of which he has possession, upon conviction, shall be punished for the first offense by imprisonment within the county jail for a period of not less than six (6) months nor more than one (1) year, and by a fine of not more than Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00), and upon conviction for any subsequent offense under this article shall be guilty of a felony and shall be punished by imprisonment in the State Penitentiary for a period of not less than one (1) year nor more than ten (10) years.
