Rule 33. Chief Judge
In the absence of the Chief Judge (District Judge) of the District Court or in cases of inability to act by reason of other Court business, the Associate District Judge is designated the “Vice Chief Judge” and authorized to excuse jurors, permit removal of court files and otherwise further compliance of the Court Rules. All Vice Chief Judges should be as consistent as possible within the practices of the First Judicial District.
