Rule 20. Criminal Applications for Search Warrants, Appointment of Counsel, Revocations, Accelerations and Motions to Reduce Bail
A. Applications for Search Warrants. Applications for Search Warrants and recall may be presented to the following: First to a Special District Judge, next to the Associate District Judge then to a District Judge. After hours search warrants should be presented to the on call judge.
B. Appointment of Counsel. Counsel for indigent defendants may be appointed by any Judge upon written application being submitted by the defendant. Applications in Pottawatomie County should first be submitted to the office of the Special District Judge.
C. Matters Heard by the Assigned Judge. In felony cases applications to revoke suspended sentences or to accelerate deferred sentences and motions including motions to reduce bail, shall be heard by the assigned Judge.
