§ 50-135. Forfeiture of Motor Fuel Excise Tax revenues
Any participating municipality that does not comply with the contribution requirements of this act1 shall forfeit that proportionate share of the Motor Fuel Excise Tax which is received through the Oklahoma Tax Commission. It shall be the duty of the Oklahoma Tax Commission to withhold these funds until such time as the Attorney General shall certify to the Oklahoma Tax Commission, upon proof presented that the provisions of this act are being complied with by the participating municipality, that the forfeiture of the Motor Fuel Excise Tax is terminated. It shall be the duty of the Attorney General to enforce the provisions of this section.
