Eighteenth Judicial District Court Rule 2.1
Rule 2.1. Orders
Generally, orders should be presented to the assigned judge for his/her signature. However, in the absence of the assigned judge, any available judge may sign agreed and default orders, as well as orders setting hearings. It is the responsibility of the presenting party to assure that the assigned judge's clerk is notified of the entry of the order for docketing purposes.
