Rules of the First Judicial District [Cimarron, Texas, Beaver, & Harper Counties]

Rule 13. Motion, Discovery, Pre-trial and Default Sessions
The regular court day for the District Judge each month for the hearing of defaults, arraignments, motions, preliminary proceedings, and pretrial matters are as follows:
Beaver County: Second & Fourth Tuesday each month @10:00 a.m. *
Cimarron County: First & Third Thursday each month @ 10:00 a.m. *
Harper County: Second & Fourth Thursday each month @11:00 a.m. *
Texas County: Second & Fourth Wednesday each month @ 10:00 a.m. *
Failure to appear for presentation of any docketed matter may be just cause to overrule or show the matter abandoned, or for dismissal or judgment, or bond forfeiture as the situation exists and the imposition of sanctions may be proper.
The time and date may be modified for a particular docket if the Presiding Judge determines the same necessary. The particular published docket will show the date and time each docket begins. The District Judge may cancel any docket date in any county at the District Judge's discretion.
Regular bi-monthly dockets shall not be held if the same conflicts with the annual state OBA meeting or State Judicial Conferences.
* except where conflicting with the annual Boiling Springs Legal Institute sponsored by the OBA & thereupon no motion docket shall be held.
