§ 133. Board of general supervision--Appointments--Salaries and removal of appointees
The judge of the juvenile court, or children's court, or a judge of the district court, if there be no judge of the juvenile court or children's court, and the chairman of the board of county commissioners and a superintendent of a school district located in whole or in part in the county shall constitute a board of general supervision for such schools and homes. If there is more than one school district located in whole or in part in the county the superintendents of each school district shall rotate membership on the board on an annual basis in a manner to be determined by the judge of the district court. They shall appoint a superintendent, matrons, teachers and such other persons as may, in their judgment, be necessary for the management of such schools and homes, and for instruction therein, and shall fix the salaries of such appointees, which salaries shall be paid monthly out of the funds derived from the tax levy provided for in this act.1 The said board shall also have power to remove any appointee at will.
