§ 440. Harboring criminals and fugitives--Assisting a sex offender in violation of registration requirements--Unlawful acts--Penalties
A. Any person who shall knowingly feed, lodge, clothe, arm, equip in whole or in part, harbor, aid, assist or conceal in any manner any person guilty of any felony, or outlaw, or fugitive from justice, or any person seeking to escape arrest for any felony committed within this state or any other state or territory, shall be guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment in the custody of the Department of Corrections for a period not exceeding ten (10) years.
C. Any person convicted of violating the provisions of subsection B of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment in the county jail for a term not to exceed one (1) year, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
