Rules of the First Judicial District [Cimarron, Texas, Beaver, & Harper Counties]

Rule 4. Court Hours
This trial court and the officers of its Clerk in Texas, Cimarron and Beaver counties shall regularly be open for court business from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, (Cimarron County is closed over noon hour), except on such days as are declared legal holidays by the State of Oklahoma or the County Commissioners of each respective county. This trial court and the officers of its Clerk in Harper County shall regularly be open for court business from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except on such days as are declared legal holidays by the State of Oklahoma or the County Commissioners of Harper County. (City holidays do not affect the operation of state trial courts.) All Motion, Discovery and Pre-Trial Dockets and Non-jury Trial Dockets in Cimarron, Texas and Beaver counties commence at 10:00 a.m. unless otherwise specially set. Jury cases in all counties commence at 9:00 a.m., unless otherwise specially set. All Motion, Discovery and Pre-Trial and Non-jury Trial Dockets in Harper County commence at 11:00 a.m. In the event the courthouse is closed by the County Commissioners on a regular business day or part thereof due to inclement weather, the same shall not affect prior court ordered settings/hearing without approval of the Judge presiding in a particular case/matter.
