§ 276. Unlawful deputation is void
Currentness
Every grant or deputation made contrary to the provisions of the two preceding sections1 is void; but official acts done before a conviction for any offense prohibited by those sections shall not be deemed invalid in consequence of the invalidity of such grant or deputation.
