§ 411. Definitions
The words defined in this section shall have the following meaning when found in this act,1 to wit “mines” mean mines in the State of Oklahoma wherein lead, zinc or other metals are sought or produced. “Operator” means the person, individual or corporation charged with the responsibility of management and control of mining. “Mine Inspector” means the Chief Mining Inspector of this state and the deputy or assistant mining inspector provided by law for the district in which the mining operation is located, except where the context specifies the deputy or assistant mining inspector.
