OK 23 District Court Rule 6
Rule 6. Assignment of Cases
In Pottawatomie County the District Judge shall have primary docket control over the following dockets, Civil, Felony, Probate, Guardianships, Drug Court, Private Process Server Applications, and Administrative License Requests. The Associate District Judge shall have primary docket control over the following dockets, 66% of the Domestic Dockets, Juvenile, Delinquent and Deprived, Adoptions and Mental Health. The Special District Judges shall have primary docket control over the following matters, Small Claims, Magistrate duties in all Felony cases, Misdemeanor Dockets, Landlord and Tenant, Emergency Protective Orders and 33% of the Domestic Dockets.
In all docket assignments the Chief District Judge for Pottawatomie County shall have the administrative responsibility for the assignment of dockets on a continuing basis.
In all docket assignments the Chief District Judge for Lincoln County shall have the administrative responsibility for the assignment of dockets on a continuing basis.
