Tariff Amendments
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On 4/18/19, the PSC adopted an order approving, with modifications, National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation's (NFG) tariff amendments to P.S.C. No. 9—Gas.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 39(4), 65 and 66
Subject:
Tariff amendments.
Purpose:
To approve, with modifications, NFG's tariff amendments to P.S.C. No. 9—Gas.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on April 18, 2019, adopted an order approving, with modifications, National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation's (NFG) tariff amendments to P.S.C. No. 9 – Gas, relating to residential meter reading, to become effective on May 1, 2019. NFG is also directed to file further revisions clarifying that a meter read fee will not be charged to customers where the company has the ability to read the customer’s meter without sending personnel to the customer’s premises. The further revisions shall be filed on not less than five days’ notice to become effective on May 1, 2019, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
