Financial Security Requirements (insurance and Bonding) for Permits to Perform Work on State Highways
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
Repeal of section 125.3 and Part 127; and addition of new Part 127; and amendment of section 129.3 of Title 17 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Highway Law, sections 10 and 52; Vehicle and Traffic Law, sections 1182 and 1182-a.
Subject:
Financial security requirements (insurance and bonding) for permits to perform work on state highways.
Purpose:
To set minimum standards for insurance, bonding and other alternative means of protection for permitted activity.
