Transfer of Street Lighting Facilities
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On 12/14/23, the PSC adopted an order authorizing, subject to conditions, Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc.'s (O&R) petition to transfer street lighting facilities located within the Town of Ramapo (Ramapo) to Ramapo.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 70(1)
Subject:
Transfer of street lighting facilities.
Purpose:
To authorize, subject to conditions, O&R's petition to transfer street lighting facilities to Ramapo.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on December 14, 2023, adopted an order authorizing, subject to conditions, Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc.'s (O&R) petition to transfer street lighting facilities located within the Town of Ramapo (Ramapo) to Ramapo. The authority is granted for one year from the issuance of the order and shall expire if the transaction does not occur within that period. O&R is directed to file with the Secretary to the Commission, within 60 days of the sale closing, a copy of the actual journal entries, including all related workpapers, recorded to account for the transaction, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
