PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
Addition of Part 509 to Title 14 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Mental Hygiene Law, sections 7.07, 7.09 and 31.04
Subject:
Prevention of Influenza Transmission.
Purpose:
Require unvaccinated personnel to wear surgical masks in certain OMH-licensed or operated psychiatric centers during flu season.
