Proposed Revisions to NYSEG's Dynamic Load Management Programs
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The Commission is considering a November 15, 2018 report and petition filed by New York State Electric & Gas Corporation (NYSEG) to effectuate revisions to its Dynamic Load Management Programs.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 5(1), (2), 65(1), (5), 66(1), (12), (14) and 74
Subject:
Proposed revisions to NYSEG's Dynamic Load Management Programs.
Purpose:
More efficient demand response programs to gain operational efficiency and shave peak demand.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Public Service Commission is considering a November 15, 2018 report and petition, filed by New York State Electric & Gas Corporation (NYSEG), proposing modifications to two distribution-level demand response programs, the Commercial System Relief Program and the Distribution Load Relief Program for the 2019 capability period. The proposed tariff amendments have an initial effective date of May 1, 2019.
