Rates for the Sale of Power and Energy
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
Revision in Electric Rates for the Village of Watkins Glen. Three-part phase-in of rate increase over two years, in accordance with the rule's text.
Statutory authority:
Public Authorities Law, section 1005(5)
Subject:
Rates for the Sale of Power and Energy.
Purpose:
To maintain the system's integrity. This increase in rates is not the result of an Authority rate increase to the Village.

(The final rates are shown below. The increases are to be phased-in via three equal steps commencing October 1, 2021 and continuing annually thereafter, concluding on October 1, 2023.)
