Proposed Sale of Property from Con Edison to 500 Kent LLC
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The Commission is considering the joint petition between Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (Con Edison) and 500 Kent LLC for a proposed sale of property from Con Edison to 500 Kent LLC.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 70
Subject:
Proposed sale of property from Con Edison to 500 Kent LLC.
Purpose:
To consider Con Edison and 500 Kent LLC's joint petition for a proposed sale of property.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Commission is considering a joint petition from Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (Con Edison) and 500 Kent LLC for authority to transfer property located at 492-518 Kent Avenue, City of New York, County of Kings from Con Edison to 500 Kent LLC. The property consists of 2.64 acres of vacant land at the corner of Kent Avenue and Division Avenue in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York. The proposed purchase price for the property is $50 million. The full text of the petition may be reviewed online at the Department of Public Service web page: www.dps.ny.gov. The Commission may adopt, reject or modify, in whole or in part, the relief proposed and may resolve related matters.
