Amendments to the UBP
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On 1/18/18, the PSC adopted an order approving Green Mountain Energy Company's (Green Mountain) petition recommending amendments to the Uniform Business Practices (UBP).
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 5(1)(b), 65(1), (2), (3), 66(1), (2), (3), (5) and (8)
Subject:
Amendments to the UBP.
Purpose:
To approve Green Mountain's petition recommending amendments to the UBP.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on January 18, 2018, adopted an order approving Green Mountain Energy Company's (Green Mountain) petition recommending amendments to Uniform Business Practices (UBP) § 10.C.1.b.1. and § 10.C.1.d., eliminating an Energy Service Company (ESCO) marketing representative’s first name on the UBP required identification badge to protect the marketer’s personal identity and would include a unique employee identification number, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
