PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve, modify, or reject a petition from the Town of Goshen, Orange County, to waive 16 NYCRR sections 894.1 through 894.4 pertaining to the franchising process.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 216(1)
Subject:
Waiver of 16 NYCRR Sections 894.1 through 894.4(b)(2).
Purpose:
To allow the Town of Goshen, NY, to waive certain preliminary franchising procedures to expedite the franchising process.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve, modify, or reject the Petition of the Town of Goshen, Orange County, to waive the requirements of 16 NYCRR sections 894.1 through 894.4 to expedite the franchising process.
