Modifications to the Interconnection EAM Framework
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On 3/9/17, the PSC adopted an order directing the Joint Utilities to make modifications to their Interconnection Survey Process and proposed Earnings Adjustment Mechanism (EAM), filed on September 2, 2016.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 4(1), 5(1), (2), 65 and 66(1)
Subject:
Modifications to the Interconnection EAM Framework.
Purpose:
To direct the Joint Utilities to make modifications to their Interconnection Survey Process and proposed EAM.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on March 9, 2017, adopted an order directing Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation, Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc., New York State Electric and Gas Corporation, Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a National Grid, Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc., and Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation to make modifications to their Interconnection Survey Process and proposed Earnings Adjustment Mechanism, filed on September 2, 2016, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
