Notice of Abandoned Property Received by the State Comptroller
Pursuant to provisions of the Abandoned Property Law and related laws, the Office of the State Comptroller receives unclaimed monies and other property deemed abandoned. A list of the names and last known addresses of the entitled owners of this abandoned property is maintained by the office in accordance with Section 1401 of the Abandoned Property Law. Interested parties may inquire if they appear on the Abandoned Property Listing by contacting the Office of Unclaimed Funds, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at:

Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services
Pursuant to Articles 19 and 61 of the Mental Hygiene Law, the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) hereby gives public notice of the following:
Federal Substance Abuse Prevention and
Treatment Block Grant Application and Annual Synar Report
OASAS has developed an application for 2012 Federal fiscal year funding of the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) Block Grant. Comments from the public are invited during the period September 19, 2011 through September 26, 2011.
The application, which will be submitted by OASAS as required by the Federal government, includes assurances and certifications of compliance with Federal statute and regulations, prevention and treatment goals and objectives for OASAS and subrecipients funded with this grant and a description of the intended use of the 2012-2014 Block Grant funds. The Synar Report details New York's efforts to limit tobacco sales to minors and completes New York's submission for the 2012 award.
SAPT Block Grant and Annual Synar Report: The proposed application and report are available on line for public review by entering the username citizenny at: https://bgas.samhsa.gov/. The password is citizen.

Incorporated Village of Lindenhurst
The Incorporated Village of Lindenhurst is seeking Request for Proposal regarding municipal based auditing services for a 457 Plan. The Village is seeking an experienced CPA company to provide the following services:
• Review of account balances by investment option and in the aggregate.
• Deferrals reported by the plan sponsor, by individual participant and in the aggregate.
• Remittance of deferrals to the trustee in a timely manner.
• Accounting of deferrals between pre-tax and Roth designated contributions.
• Application of deferral limitations and payment of required minimum distributions.
• Administration of regular distributions, unforeseeable emergency distributions, and loans.
• Processing of deferral and asset allocation changes in a timely manner.
• Disclosure of plan level and participant level fees to participants and allocation of such fees.
• Notification to employees of the plan and enrollment opportunities.
• Prepare a financial statement of net assets available for benefits.
All proposals shall include a mission statement regarding the firm's approach to municipal 457 Plan auditing. A listing of fees, hourly rates, and other compensation shall be included as well as a listing of references.
All proposals shall be returned in writing to Village Clerk-Treasurer, Shawn Cullinane by 12 noon on Friday, Sept. 30, 2011. The Village Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals based on its sole discretion, in the best interest of the Incorporated Village of Lindenhurst. The successful proposal shall be responsible to provide its services for the village beginning Monday, Oct. 31, 2011.

Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority Award of Contract
On 9/19/11 the Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority awarded a contract to Fred Burrows Trucking and Excavating, LLC pursuant to section one hundred twenty w of the General Municipal Law for the transportation of non-recyclable solid waste from two transfer stations to the Oneida-Herkimer Landfill. The validity of this contract or the procedures which led to its award may be hereafter contested only by action, suit or proceeding commenced within sixty days after the date of this notice and only upon the ground or grounds that: (1) such award or procedure was not authorized pursuant to that section, or (2) any of the provisions of that section which should be complied with at the date of this publication have not been substantially complied with, or (3) a conflict of interest can be shown in the manner in which the contract was awarded; or by action, suit or proceeding commenced on the grounds that such contract was awarded in violation of the provisions of the Constitution.
