Modification of the Commission's 12/20/07 Order to Allow for the Termination of Submetered Electric Service
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On 3/15/12, the PSC adopted an order approving the petition of 89 Murray Street Associates LLC & 101 Warren Street Associates LLC for modification of the Commission's December 20, 2007 Order to allow for the termination of submetered electric service.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 2, 4(1), 30, 32-48, 52, 53, 65(1), 66(1), (2), (3), (4), (12) and (14)
Subject:
Modification of the Commission's 12/20/07 Order to allow for the termination of submetered electric service.
Purpose:
To approve the modification of the Commission's 12/20/07 Order to allow for the termination of submetered electric service.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on March 15, 2012 adopted an order approving the petition of 89 Murray Street Associates LLC and 101 Warren Street Associates LLC for modification of the Commission's December 20, 2007 Order to allow for the termination of submetered electric service for nonpayment of electric charges, after all of the notifications and protections of the Home Energy Fair Practices Act have been exhausted, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
