Approving the Petition of the New York State Utilities, in Part and Modifying Electric Safety Standards
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On 3/14/13, the PSC adopted an order approving a petition, filed by the New York State utilities, in part; and modifying Electric Safety Standards.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 2, 5, 65 and 66
Subject:
Approving the petition of the New York State utilities, in part and modifying Electric Safety Standards.
Purpose:
To approve the petition of the New York State utilities, in part and modifying Electric Safety Standards.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on March 14, 2013 adopted an order approving the petition, in part, filed on September 20, 2012 by the New York State utilities (Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation, Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc., Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a National Grid, Orange & Rockland Utilities, Inc., New York State Electric & Gas Corporation and Rochester Gas & Electric Corporation) and modifying Electric Safety Standards, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
