PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:

Amendment of sections 710.1, 710.2, 710.3, 710.4, 710.6, 710.7 and 710.8 of Title 14 NYCRR.

Protection of People with Special Needs Act, L. 2012, ch. 501
Subject:
Procedures of the Surrogate Decision-Making Committees of the NYS Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs.
Purpose:
Administer procedure to consent or refuse a nonemergency major medical treatment on behalf of a person with mental disabilities.
