PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
Addition of Part 300 to Title 19 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Executive Law, section 101; L. 2014, ch. 190
Subject:
Proscribing use of word "handicapped" on new accessibility signs, and designating updated logo to be used on such signs.
Purpose:
To implement Executive Law section 101; striking word handicapped from, and providing new symbol for, new "accessibility" signs.
