Waivers of PSC Article VII Regulations
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On 1/17/19, the PSC adopted an order approving Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a National Grid's (National Grid) request for certain waivers of PSC Article VII regulations regarding requirements for applications.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 4, 5 and 122
Subject:
Waivers of PSC article VII regulations.
Purpose:
To approve National Grid's request for certain waivers of PSC article VII regulations.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on January 17, 2019, adopted an order approving Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a National Grid's (National Grid) request for waivers of certain PSC Article VII application requirements for Certificates of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need as set forth in 16 NYCRR § 86.3(a)(2), 86.3(b)(2) and 88.4(a)(4), subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
