Notice of Abandoned Property Received by the State Comptroller
Pursuant to provisions of the Abandoned Property Law and related laws, the Office of the State Comptroller receives unclaimed monies and other property deemed abandoned. Division of Criminal Justice Services Notice of Application for Federal Funds
Pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program regarding New York State’s application for such funding, the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services (Division) hereby gives notice of the following:
On May 30th, 2013 the Division will submit a funding application requesting New York State’s federal fiscal year (FFY) 2013 award appropriated under the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program. The application generally describes the proposed program activities for the 4-year grant period and the types of programs for which funding will be used.
This application is required to be made available for a 30-day period for public review and comment. If a paper copy of the application is requested, a payment of $0.25 per page will be due to the Division in accordance with Public Officer Law section 87.

County of Onondaga
The County of Onondaga, NY, is soliciting proposals from administrative service agencies, trustees, and financial organizations for services in connection with a Deferred Compensation Plan that will meet the requirements of Section 457 of the Internal Revenue Code and Section 5 of the State Finance Law, including all rules and regulations issued pursuant thereto.

Actions Taken at March 21, 2013, Meeting
SUMMARY: As part of its regular business meeting held on March 21, 2013, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the Commission took the following actions: 1) approved, denied, or tabled the applications of certain water resources projects; 2) rescinded approvals for three projects and tabled a rescission for one project; 3) authorized the Executive Director to modify or extend timelines established by docket conditions, where warranted and with prudent administrative discretion; and 4) took additional actions, as set forth in the Supplementary Information below.

Goddard Award for Excellence by a Water Management Professional to Mr. Jim Brozena, recently retired Executive Director of the Luzerne County Flood Protection Authority in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; 2) heard a presentation from SRBC staff member Ben Pratt on the development of flood inundation mapping for the City of Harrisburg and surrounding communities; 3) revised the FY-2014 budget for the period July 1, 2013, to June 20, 2014; 4) approved an investment policy statement for the Commission’s Retiree Benefit Trust Account; 5) ratified a joint funding agreement relating to stream gaging, and an amendment to the Commission’s EPA Section 106 Clean Water Act grant; 6) authorized final execution of a Feasibility Cost Sharing Agreement (FCSA) for Phase II of the Susquehanna River Basin Ecological Flow Management Study; and 7) authorized the Executive Director to execute a Stipulation of Settlement and Withdrawal of Appeal regarding the withdrawal of an administrative appeal by Anadarko E&P Company LP.

Westchester County Request for Proposal
The Westchester County Deferred Compensation Board is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Deferred Compensation Services for investment management, recordkeeping/administration, communication/education and custodial trustee services for the County’s Deferred Compensation Plan, a plan which meets the requirements of Section 457 of the Internal Revenue Code and Section 5 of New York State Finance Law including all rules and regulations issued pursuant thereto.
A copy of the proposal questionnaire may be obtained at no cost from the Westchester County website for RFPs at http://rfp.westchestergov.com/rfp/rfps.jsp, after 1:00 p.m. on the announcement date.
Proposals are due on June 21, 2013 and should be submitted/delivered in accordance with the instructions as specified in the Proposal Format and Submission requirements.
