Transfer of Certain Street Lighting Facilities
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The Commission is considering the petition filed by New York State Electric & Gas Corporation (NYSEG) for authority to transfer certain street lighting facilities to the Town of Bedford, located in the Town of Bedford, Westchester County, New York.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 70
Subject:
Transfer of certain street lighting facilities.
Purpose:
To consider the transfer of certain street lighting facilities from NYSEG to the Town of Bedford.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Public Service Commission (Commission) is considering the petition filed by New York State Electric & Gas Corporation for authority to transfer certain street lighting facilities to the Town of Bedford, located in the Town of Bedford, Westchester County, New York. The original cost of the facilities was approximately $269,000 and is being sold at a purchase price of $160,000, which represents the current fair market value of the facilities. The current net book value of the assets is $100,302. The full text of the petition may be viewed online at the Department of Public Service web page: www.dps.ny.gov. The Commission may adopt, reject, or modify, in whole or in part, the relief proposed and may resolve related matters.
