ELIGIBLE UNITS OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is issuing a Request for Applications (RFA) to solicit applications for awards to support Operation IMPACT for the period of July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013 in New York State counties outside New York City with the highest 3-year average Uniform Crime Report (UCR) Part 1 violent and property crime. Subject to State appropriation authority, approximately $13.1 million is available for awards to eligible units of local government. State and federal agencies are not eligible to apply for Operation IMPACT funding. Prospective applicants should review the eligibility criteria outlined in the RFA.

Applications received on or before 12:00 Noon (EDT) May 25, 2012 via DCJS' on-line Grants Management System (GMS) will be accepted.
