PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
Addition of section 29.10(j); amendment of section 70.10 of Title 8 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Education Law, sections 207, 6504, 6507, 6509, 7408 and 7410
Subject:
Mandatory Peer Review Program in the Profession of Public Accountancy.
Purpose:
To conform the to the national peer review program standards to enhance enforcement efforts to help ensure the quality of attest services provided by New York public accounting firms.
