Pursuant to provisions of the Abandoned Property Law and related laws, the Office of the State Comptroller receives unclaimed monies and other property deemed abandoned. In F-2019-0445 or the 32 Beach Lane Dock, the applicant Sanderling LLC, is proposing to construct a new 4′ x 70′ catwalk, 3′ x 12′ ramp, 6′ x 20′ float, two 8″ diameter float-securing piles and 8: diameter mooring piles. Open grate decking will be used for the catwalk. Untreated wood only to be used. The project is located at 32 Beach Lane, Village of Quogue, Suffolk County, Ogden Pond.

The project calls for excavation and plantings within Burnt Ship Creek. The creation of two pools off the creek channel and two pools within the cove at the mouth of the creek. Also proposed are the placement of leaner trees and root wads to provide in-water habitat.
