PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
Amendment of sections 100.2(cc), (gg) and 120.3(a) of Title 8 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Education Law, sections 15, 101, 207, 305(1), (2), 308 and 2802
Subject:
Uniform Violent or Disruptive Incident Reporting (VADIR) System, Also Known as the School Safety and Educational Climate Report.
Purpose:
Update the definitions of violent and disruptive incidents for purposes of the VADIR and update the School Violence Index.
