PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The Commission is considering consequences against Global Energy Group, LLC d/b/a Jean Energy Group, LLC for violations of the Uniform Business Practices (UBP).
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 4 and 66
Subject:
Consideration of consequences against Global Energy Group, LLC for violations of the Uniform Business Practices (UBP).
Purpose:
To consider consequences against Global Energy Group, LLC for violations of the Uniform Business Practices (UBP).
Substance of proposed rule:
The Public Service Commission is considering consequences against Global Energy Group, LLC d/b/a Jean Energy Group, LLC for violations of the Uniform Business Practices, which include failure to submit required filings to the Secretary to maintain ESCO eligibility status. The Commission issued an Order to Show Cause in Case 16-G-0142 on April 26, 2016, setting forth possible consequences that may be imposed upon ESCO’s for violations of the UBP. The Commission may adopt, reject or modify, in whole or in part, the relief proposed and may resolve related matters.
