PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:

On 8/9/18, the PSC adopted an order approving, with modifications, Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc.'s (Con Edison) Gas Demand Response Pilot (Gas DR Pilot) Program to be implemented in accordance with the Implementation Plan.

Con Edison's Gas Demand Response Pilot Program.

To approve, with modifications, Con Edison's Gas DR Pilot Program in accordance with the Gas DR Implementation Plan.

The Commission, on August 9, 2018, adopted an order approving, with modifications, Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc.'s (Con Edison) Gas Demand Response Pilot Program to be implemented in accordance with its Gas Demand Response Implementation Plan. Con Edison is authorized to implement its proposed Gas Demand Response Pilot with a three-year budget not to exceed $5.051 million. Con Edison is directed to file an updated Gas Demand Response Pilot Implementation Plan with the Secretary to the Commission as described in the body of this Order within 30 days of the effective date of this Order. Con Edison is directed to file an annual report as described in the body of this Order detailing the Gas Demand Response Pilot operations and results from the previous heating season with the Secretary to the Commission by July 1 of each year both in this proceeding and in Case 14-E-0423. Con Edison is also directed to file an annual update to its Gas Demand Response Pilot Implementation Plan based on the findings detailed in its Annual Report described in Ordering Clause 3, above, with the Secretary to the Commission by July 1 of each year from 2019 through 2022. Con Edison is directed to convene a meeting with interested stakeholders to discuss changes to existing Customer Baseline Load methodologies by July 1 in the event it determines that modifications to such methodologies are warranted. Con Edison shall recover the costs of the Gas Demand Response Pilot as incurred through the Monthly Rate Adjustment mechanism as discussed in the body of this Order. Con Edison is also directed to file necessary tariff modifications related to Ordering Clause No. 6 in compliance with this Order within 30 days of the effective date of this Order to become effective on not less than three days’ notice, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
