PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
Amendment of section 52.21 and Part 80 of Title 8 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Education Law, sections 101, 207, 210, 215, 305, 3001, 3003, 3006 and 3009
Subject:
Certification requirements for school counselor.
Purpose:
Require 48 and 60-semester hour programs counseling include a minimum of 48 hours of graduate study in eight core content areas.
