In the Matter of The Amendment of the Rules of the Court of Appeals for the Admission of Attorneys and Counselors at Law (22 NYCRR Part 520).

Pursuant to section 53 of the Judiciary Law, it is hereby

ORDERED that the Rules of the Court of Appeals for the Admission of Attorneys and Counselors at Law (22 NYCRR Part 520) is amended, effective September 18, 2019, or as soon thereafter as section 52 of the Judiciary Law is complied with, by deleting the bracketed material of section 520.10(c).

§ 520.10 Admission without examination.

(c) Proof to be submitted and fee to be paid to New York State Board of Law Examiners. The applicant shall submit to the New York State Board of Law Examiners such proof of compliance with the provisions of paragraph (a)(3) of this section as the board may require and shall at the same time pay the board the fee prescribed by section 465 of the Judiciary Law [by certified check of money order payable to the order of the board].
