Pursuant to provisions of the Abandoned Property Law and related laws, the Office of the State Comptroller receives unclaimed monies and other property deemed abandoned. A list of the names and last known addresses of the entitled owners of this abandoned property is maintained by the office in accordance with Section 1401 of the Abandoned Property Law. The Department of Health is pleased to announce the date for the downstate public comment day for New York’s 1115 Waiver programs.
The public comment day will be held on October 25, 2019 at Baruch College, 55 Lexington Ave. (Corner of 24th St. & Lexington Ave.), Rm. 14-220 (14th Fl.), New York, NY 10010 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Any updates related to the forum will be sent via the MRT Listserv. Any written public comment may be submitted through November 4, 2019 to [email protected] Please include “1115 Public Forum Comment” in the subject line.
About the 1115 waiver:
• The 1115 waiver, also known as the MRT Waiver in New York State, is an agreement between the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and New York State that allows the State to use a managed care delivery system to deliver benefits to Medicaid recipients, create efficiencies in the Medicaid program, and enable the extension of coverage to certain individuals who would otherwise be without health insurance.
• The MRT waiver is a vehicle by which the State has implemented the initiatives of the Medicaid Redesign Team and subsequent health systems reforms, including the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program.
• In addition, New York’s goals in implementing its MRT waiver include improving access to health services and better health outcomes for New Yorkers through multiple programs.
This meeting will be webcast live (https://www.health.ny.gov/events/webcasts/) and will be open to the public. Registration will begin at 10:30am, and no pre-registration is required. Individuals who wish to provide comment will be asked to register on site no later than 12:00pm and will speak in their order of registration. We kindly request that all comments be limited to 5 minutes per presenter to ensure that all public comments may be heard.

Department of State Notice of Review of Request for Brownfield Opportunity Area Conformance Determination Project: The Crossing at Jamaica Station Location: Jamaica Brownfield Opportunity Area City of New York, Queens County
In accordance with General Municipal Law, Article 18 - C, Section 970-r, the Secretary of State designated the Jamaica Brownfield Opportunity Area, in the City of New York, on April 09, 2015. The designation of the Jamaica Brownfield Opportunity Area was supported by a Nomination or a comprehensive planning tool that identifies strategies to revitalize the area which is affected by one or more known or suspected brownfield sites.
Pursuant to New York State Tax Law, Article 1, Section 21, the eligible taxpayer(s) of a project site located in a designated Brownfield Opportunity Area may apply for an increase in the allowable tangible property tax credit component of the brownfield redevelopment tax credit if the Secretary of State determines that the project conforms to the goals and priorities established in the Nomination for a designated Brownfield Opportunity Area.
On July 8, 2019 CJ Plaza One LLC; CJ Plaza Two LLC; BRP JAMSTA Two TC Owner LLC; BRP JAMSTA TC Owner LLC submitted a request for the Secretary of State to determine whether The Crossing at Jamaica Station (147-40 Archer Avenue and 148-10 Archer Avenue), which will be located within the designated Jamaica Brownfield Opportunity Area, conforms to the goals and priorities identified in the Nomination that was prepared for the designated Jamaica Brownfield Opportunity Area.
The public is permitted and encouraged to review and provide comments on the request for conformance.
