Notice of Abandoned Property Received by the State Comptroller
Pursuant to provisions of the Abandoned Property Law and related laws, the Office of the State Comptroller receives unclaimed monies and other property deemed abandoned. A list of the names and last known addresses of the entitled owners of this abandoned property is maintained by the office in accordance with Section 1401 of the Abandoned Property Law. The Village of Avon, NY is soliciting proposals from administrative service agencies relating to trust service, managed accounts, administration and/or funding of a Deferred Compensation Plan for the employees of the Village of Avon, NY. Request for Proposals (RFP) Solid Waste Facility Management Services for Town of Colonie, New York
Pursuant to New York State General Municipal Law, Section 120-w, the Town of Colonie, New York (Albany County, New York), hereby gives notice of the following:
The Town of Colonie, New York (the "Town") desires to procure an agreement (a "Contract") with a firm for solid waste facility management services at its landfill (the "Colonie Landfill"), which is located in the Town. The Town, on October 8, 2010, issued a Draft Request For Proposals (the "Draft RFP") with respect to the Contract and the Town received comments and questions (the "Comments") from certain parties in response to the Draft RFP. The Town has reviewed the Comments and, as a result of such review, the Town has developed and promulgated findings with respect to the substantive elements of such Comments (the "Findings"). The Town has also issued a Final Request for Proposals (the "RFP") with respect to the Contract and the RFP, along with the Findings, have been filed with the Town Clerk and at the William A. Sanford Library, which is located at 629 Albany-Shaker Road, Loudonville, New York. Any person or entity that has questions or needs clarifications regarding the RFP should deliver such questions and requests for clarifications to the below-referenced address by 4:30 p.m. on February 23, 2011. As per the instructions of the RFP, responses to the RFP must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. on March 31, 2011.

Department of State Notice of Review for the Town and Village of Malone Draft Local Waterfront Revitalization Program
PURSUANT to Article 42 of the New York State Executive Law and 19 NYCRR Part 601, the New York State Department of State (DOS) has accepted a Draft Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) for the Town and Village of Malone. The LWRP serves as a comprehensive management program for the Town and Village's Salmon River waterfront resources.
To approve the Town and Village of Malone LWRP, the Secretary of State must find that it is consistent with Article 42 of the Executive Law and that it does not conflict with existing state programs and policies. Since state agency actions must be consistent with an approved LWRP, Article 42 requires that the public and any potentially affected state and regional agencies be given the opportunity to comment on the proposed program. For this purpose, the Malone LWRP amendment is available online at http://nyswaterfronts.com/LWRP.asp.

The New York State Department of State (DOS) is required by Federal regulations to provide timely public notice for the activities described below, which are subject to the consistency provisions of the Federal Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972, as amended.
The applicant has certified that the proposed activity complies with and will be conducted in a manner consistent with the approved New York State Coastal Management Program.
