Annual Reconciliation of Gas Costs
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On 12/16/10, the PSC adopted an order instituting a proceeding for Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. and New York State Electric and Gas Company for the annual reconciliation of gas costs.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 66(12)
Subject:
Annual reconciliation of gas costs.
Purpose:
To institute a proceeding for the annual reconciliation of gas costs.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on December 16, 2010, adopted an order instituting a proceeding for Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. to review its accounting and reporting practices related to lost and unaccounted for gas. The Commission also instituted a proceeding for New York State Electric and Gas Company to review its overall stranded capacity costs, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
