PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
Amendment of Appendix 1 of Title 4 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Civil Service Law, section 6(1)
Subject:
Jurisdictional Classification.
Purpose:
To delete a position from and classify a position in the exempt class.
Text of proposed rule:
Amend Appendix 1 of the Rules for the Classified Service, listing positions in the exempt class, in the Department of Mental Hygiene under the subheading "Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services," by decreasing the number of positions of Associate Counsel from 3 to 2 and by adding thereto the position of Deputy Counsel.
