PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
Amendment of Appendixes 1 and 2 of Title 4 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Civil Service Law, section 6(1)
Subject:
Jurisdictional Classification.
Purpose:
To delete positions from the exempt class and to delete a position from the non-competitive class.
Text of proposed rule:
Amend Appendix 1 of the Rules for the Classified Service, listing positions in the exempt class, in the New York State Teachers’ Retirement System, by deleting therefrom the positions of Assistant Counsel (2), Associate Counsel, Chief Real Estate Investment Officer, Counsel to Teachers' Retirement System, Deputy Executive Secretary, Director of Public Information, Executive Assistant, Executive Secretary, Manager of Teachers' Retirement System Accounts, Manager, TRS Benefits, Manager, TRS Member Services, Mortgage Officer, Securities Investment Officer, Senior Investment Officer and Teachers' Retirement System Actuary; and
Amend Appendix 2 of the Rules for the Classified Service, listing positions in the non-competitive class, in the Department of Labor, by decreasing the number of positions of øSecretary 1 from 2 to 1.
